WATER DUST COLLECTOR

AIR 5
Water Dust Collector Bench

The bench with water technology uses the same filtration principle as the Air Box suction cabin. The bench, realized in galvanized steel, has been specially designed to convey the air inside the purification tower (built in AISI 304). The submersible pump, installed inside the tank in the purification tower, is easy to access for checks and maintenance. Special atomising nozzles made in brass create a cloud of highly effective filtering water. Finally, the powerful fan ensures excellent suction, both during dry and wet processing.

Particularly suitable for building works such as jambs, steps, fireplaces.

The pump placed inside the water recycling tank feeds the high-performance nozzles that create a barrier of finely atomized water. The aspirator attracts the air loaded with dust and makes it pass through the atomised water. The powders, once in contact with water, turn into mud. Periodically, the sludge deposited in the tank must be removed and the exhausted water replaced.

FAQ

Cabin or bench, which water dust collector system is better?

The suction workbench is particularly suitable for all construction works because the removal of dust is almost immediate, while the cabin is more suitable for works of various kinds such as sculptors, large kitchens, or for those used to working with mobile benches or on a frame. For those with limited space, the Cabin takes up less space than the counter.

Why are there still water models?

For certain works and materials, water atomization systems are more suitable. It is a cheaper system and has good suction power performance.

Does the water dust collector purify more than the dry system?

The dry system approaches 100% constant, while the water system ≤ 85 % in relation to the load of dust and the quality/purity of the water in the given instant. You can apply additional filters on top to optimize the fight.

What are the advantages of water-jet purification technology ?

For some types of material and processing, water is better. For example for painters and carpenters.

When should I change the filters?

Water systems do not use filters because the filter element is water.

Does a water dust collector system get clogged easily?

No, the water vapor retainers must be rinsed every 4-6 months.

Where is released the air discharge?

From the roof of the machine by means of motorized fans.

Can I discharge the air inside the workshop?

Certainly, the machine was designed for that purpose. In some regions this may be called into question due to the regulations in that area. It is advisable to inquire before purchasing if it is not possible to discharge the air outside the laboratory as alternative.

If I duct the air outside, I spend more on heating bills?

The air, picking up speed, loses its heat. Therefore, once returned to the workplace, it will still play against it. By discharging the air outside, a better air exchange is created, especially in humid environments.

How do I dispose the sludge?

A drainage channel/trench should preferably be provided in the immediate vicinity of the machine as the water must be replaced weekly.

How far does a water dust collector aspire?

Closer you are, better it works. The supplied plastic extensions are needed to better concentrate the suction power by reducing the dissipation of dust in the work environment and to extend its attraction. You can add more extension modules, including telescopic ones, up to a maximum of 3 meters depth. The machine with the standard extension (one meter deep)is able to attract dust with a decent capacity up to two meters from the front of the machine.

What dynamics of dust extraction does it have?

The powders are attracted homogeneously over the entire face of the machine by dragging them towards the ground to reduce direct inhalation from the operator. See the demo videos.

How do you clean it?

The exhausted water must be drained, and any muddy residues removed by rinsing them away with the aid of a water hose.

Can it work in an explosive environment?

Yes, but some security changes will need to be made. Extra cost apart.

What materials can I suck up?

Stones and derivatives, cement, glass, plastics and derivatives, wood, metals, sandblasting powders.

Can the water dust system vacuum in the presence of water vapors from water tools?

Yes, it has no problem. Even water hand tools emit some inhalable dust, even minimal but there is the risk.
